I think mine were a little different. They had a little more black abs plastic for the motor which allowed me to trim it off. If you can't trim anything else off then yea you would have to make a new bracket for it.

Did your motor looked like this?

It's like an inch too big to fit in with the LED module. I can't remove an inch from the motor, it would just break it,

I tought of turning it 90 degrees counter-clockwise and that would make plenty of space. but I would have to design a new bracket to mount the motor on, and also I would need to create another plastic cover as you see on the picture or the glass would mount sideways.

Making the plan of those parts and getting them machined can become very expensive. LOL
I guess your LED module was smaller then mine, or you don't have the same motor

We had a discussion couple of weeks ago about visual modificaitons for a SantaFe, and you talked to me about your custom mirrors, which I really liked!

I had 1 quick question for you about these, hope you don't mind.

I recently purchased similar parts for my mirrors.
LED Side Mirror Repeater 2WAY FIT Hyundai 2006 2012 Santa FE CM | eBay

I've followed the instructions to cut my actual mirror housing and install the LED modules, I must say it fit perfectly. However, the problem come when I try to put everything back into place. The bracket holding the mirror motor, and the motor itselft are too large to fit in the housing with the new led module.

Did you had motorized mirrors? Did you manage to keep the motor?
