Hi. I have a 2013 Sonata GLS and read your reply about having removed the a pillar .
I need to remove my pillar (driver side) to run a cord that is to interconnect my Valentine One Radar detector to a remote display.
I purchased fasteners for the a pillar and the sonata dealership could not tell me which one I needed as their diagram showed two items..one being about as big as my thumb black in color(QTY:1) the other part showing two clips...being much smaller white in color(QTY:2). I purchased all 3.
Do you recall which one seemed to be like the one(s) you encountered.
I have pictures of them if needed.
One more question. My drive side pillar has a air bag installed (as probably does yours)... do you know if that air bag emblem is merely a cover that can be removed carefully? Just curious.
Do you remember any other advise you might have for me.
I really appreciate your time reading and responding to this question.
    Very best regards,

    Sam Cederas
    Cary, NC
