Welcome! The 215/45R/17 is the exact wheel/tire size of the Elantra Limited's. Just watch your wheel offset and bore size. Unless you have OEM 17" alloys to put on her.

Prepare to sacrifice a little ride quality with the narrower sidewalls. Not as much flex, not as forgiving on bumps and concrete road expansion joints as those you'll get as original equipment. And those sidewalls compensate for speedometer accuracy, I THINK! Might be wrong.

Search this forum. There are more wheel/tire mods than you can shake a stick at.

And your English is fantastic.

Hehe, thanks, the rims will be custom instead of OEM alloys, ill just try to search the wheel offset and bore that are closer to OEM sizes

225/45/17 will fill the wheel wells a bit better and the speedo will still be bang on!

All that will do is fill up the wheel wells with sidewall which = ugly. 215 45 17 are good and if you need to fill wheel well lower the car.

One thing I DO like about the low profile tires, i.e. 215/45R/17, is its protruding ridge alongside the tire's sidewall near the bead. This protrusion acts as an "early warning indicator" helping you "feel" the tire rubbing alongside a curb when parking. That little feature will save your rims from curb rash!

And if there is one thing I hate, it's curb rash!

The 215/45 are slightly undersized compared to the stock 205/55 and 195/65 that comes on the Elantra. I'd rather go with 225/45 which is very unnoticeable VS dropping the car which "to me" is low enough. Not to mention voiding part of the suspension warranty and most importantly your insurance policy.

Nope! It's only a 1cm difference in width. I'm running 225/40/18 on my car for the summer with no issues.
