Hmmph. I wanted an official Elantra sedan/coupe name thread here. The GT one got my interest piqued!
*strokes non-peeling leather wrapped steering wheel* Her name is Blanca ... for obvious reasons. I love her. All of my possessions have Latino/Spanish names.
MacBook - Selena
iPhone - Y Los Dinos
iPad - Aurelia
Car - Blanca! (Before that, it was Ignacio, Isabela ... lol)
She laughs. Says, "I'll make you think La Diabla!" It's been a running joke around here for years. Not to worry: she has a pet name for me, too: [censored] LOL
My car is named Elaine, just sounded nice plus I am a Seinfeld fan. I don't always refer to my car by her name though, and I don't name my other stuff.
My wife & I named the car Ruby as it's a 2013 E coloured with Sparkling Ruby paint, and my wife's nickname is 'My Precious' (i say it just like smeagal says it) obviously if a fan you'd know it came from a Harry Potter movie I have a 10 year old son so we watch this stuff together! It's better then some of the names I get called from her when I did something to tick her off, especially after a hard day at work and I ask her when & what she's making for dinner after I'd been home chillin all day!lol

I named mine Sophia, I don't know why but I really like that name. It's funny though even my parents and wifey refers to my car with that name. "Son i'm going to borrow Sophia" or my wife "Let's take Sophia today".
I have yet to come up with a name for my Elantra. With my former white Nissan Sentra and silverish grey Saturn, the rain would make these wing like lines along the side of the car. So everyone called them Goose (Goose for the Sentra, Goose 2 for the Saturn).
But my Elantra is no goose. Picking a name is important too. So for now, my car remains unnamed. Maybe it is like getting a pet. You don't choose it, it chooses you. Maybe my car will reveal it's true name to me.

I already feel sorry for her, what with you eating off of your engine and whatnot. JK, well if you name your daughter Elantra, then don't be surprised when you get the attitude back.
