As most know, the wipers that come standard with this car Blow! I have been trying for months to find the proper wipers but no one except Hyundai offers a 14`except in the rear wiper forms and I don`t wat to pay $25 a wiper from Hyundai for the same garbage blades.

With the stock blades, I have to use the wiper spray at least 7 times to get a 3 quarters of the drivers side window clean and at high speeds the spray barely even touches the window so it takes many more sprays.

Can the sprays be changes from the mist to a stream?

I can`t even get a straight answer as to what sizes are accurate. When I measure them I get 13. 5 and 27.5. Should I go up to 14 and 28?

Does anyone recommend a certain manufacturer of wiper blades?

Really? I find the washers on my Elantra very effective at all speeds. Did you try aiming the nozzles with the tip of a pen or a nail? They are adjustable on many cars.

Because your current wiper blades are fairly new, I wouldn't throw away money on replacements until (1) cleaning the old blades and the windshield with rubbing alcohol, and (2) applying some Rain-X to the glass. Rain-X is especially helpful at high speeds, where the Elantra's long wipers might skip a bit.

Bosch ICON which are bracketless are excellent ! They make a 28". Amazon has it. The 14" is a rear blade, so what,
I don't think there is anything intrinsically different about that(front/rear) but I have not been able to confirm if Bosch ICONs come in the 14" size. The problem is that most sites on the internet want your make and model and then they tell you what fits since they make the assumption that the average Joe doesn't know how to use a ruler. And, of course, they do NOT have the 2011 Elantra in their database as yet. You think the car came out last week ! So I was going to make a trip to my local autoparts store and see if they have a Bosch ICON in 14". Like the good ol' days before the internet... P.S. wipers don't come in sub inch increments and they round up. So you need a 28" and a 14".

If I understand your post correctly... i'm having the same trouble as you are. At high speeds (80KM/h ++ ) my fluid hits the very bottom of my windsheild and i only get mist up at eye level and I end up wasting alot of fluid because of this.

other than that. the wipers work great if its raining out....

These silicone blades should be good and amazon.com has better prices:

http://www.silblade.com/Wiper-Search_ep_42.html

I used PIAA silicone blades on my last car and they were very good, but they
do not make any 28" blades.

I was in the local Dollar Store today, found a 28 inch winter wiper blade, (bought 2 of them for a dollar each), I'm all set for a couple of years, now to find the 14 inch ones.

+1. I have notices the same. I think I will check today and see if the nozzles are adjustable to spray higher.

Dollar store wiper blades? No thanks! I prefer to "get what I pay for" and be able to have the safety feature of VISIBILITY.
