Was wondering who all here is involved in the "Stance Scene" for their Elantras.
I've got a 2011 Elantra in Titanium Gray Metallic with a decent amount of mods to it.

Heres a list of some of the mods that I've got done so far:

-WellVisor Rain guards
-24k Gold Bumper Quick Releases
-Spec-D Tuning Aftermarket Headlights
-BMW style Taillights
-Custom Front Mesh Grill
-De-badged
-Custom installed fog lights w/ yellow tint
-Roof wrapped black
-LED interior lighting
-Grip Royal shift knob
-Wooded Trunk
-Gold Interior pieces
-Megan Street Series Coils w/ custom spring rates

New Wheels on the way!

Also represented the KDM scene this Summer by getting Showcase at Import Alliance!

Car looks great! I've seen your car on instagram and been liking it all over lol
Just a FEW questions if you don't mind.
How did you go with custom spring rates? I couldn't find any company that could get me custom rates all around.
Are those aftermarket fog lights? Mine seem to be falling out backwards (cheap aftermarket).
Did you have to do any steps pre-installing for your coilovers? Such as tightening bolts/spring preload.
Thanks in advance.

Nice ride! Very clean Elantra.

I have a quick question regarding the 24k gold bumper quick release.

Where did you get the quick release and how hard was is to install? Also for the front tow hook what bolt size is that and where did you get them?

Btw I have the exact same coilovers are you do but I left mine as is from Megan. Hows the new springs like with the custom rates?
I'm too scare to take my Elantra any lower then my current setup lol. I'm at 1.75" drop with about 2in or so clearance without having to scrape my cat and muffler.

Megan offers custom springs as an additional upgrade on their website. I actually had to custom order these from Megan though, they dont make these specific rates, or at least not any that I'm aware of. As far as installing I just eyeballed it when it came to the load on them, its hard to say what they are sitting at but it wasn't hard to do.

The fog lights are just OEM lights that I bought from Hyundai, I used a different wiring harness though.

What's your spring rates? F/R. And thanks get the information. I'm only lowered about 2 inches and having problems with my coilovers since day one. I have cxracing coilovers and might think about switching to megan now....thanks for the help again.

PS. What are your specs for your new wheels gonna be? I wanted to go with 18x9 34 offset, but still deciding.

The quick releases are from sickspeed. They are really easy to install as long as you aren't afraid to drill into your car, I plan to have this car for quite some time so it wasn't a problem for me.

I'm on a 4" drop at the moment, I plan to go lower when my new wheels come in though so I can have a bit better fitment.

I was actually thinking of lowering mine a bit and putting some wheels on it. Haven't been able to figure out what size Wheel I can go with without causing issues. I know I want 18s but width/back spacing/tire size I still have questions

This is the question I have as well but with lots of research and questions to others I am getting somewhere. I would say 18x8.5 is the maximum width to run safely and somewhat easily. With this being said you would definitively want coilovers when going this wide. For offset I am still questioning this but I would say between +35 and +42ish (Maybe as high as +45). The +35 would definitely be close to the fender but with the coils you can fine tune the height and camber on the front which is the main area of concern. I want to go with 225/40/18 when I go this route eventually as this is a safe stretch, pretty minor, and the 40 series tire provides a LITTLE comfort. :)

Fancy seeing you here JJ, you already know I'm in the Elantra stance game.

That looks way closer to the fender than I thought 17x8" would but it is +35 and you seem to be pretty low as well. Fitment looks good overall. What size tires? 215/45 I assume

x2 ^^ I've poked a quick look around this topic a few times. I'm deeply interested to see what an Elantra looks like with a wood trunk and more details as to which wood was used.
