EVERYTHING is BETTER. Check out the 2017 sub-forum. Every question you might have; there may be an answer. And maybe some things you haven't thought of...

I was waiting for you to show up, fanboi....:D

At the E Cig forum I was a mod at, there was a person who bought a mod called a Provari. She started bouncing around the forum telling people they should have bought one of these and got downright nasty about it. It got so bad we had to ban her!

Better insulation and shocks started with the 14 model. Suspension style did not change on the 17. Really depends on which year your comparing it to. Body a complete redesign along with the interior. More tech.

Many though this was going to come with an actual independent rear suspension, it is the same design as before. But shocks started improving in 14 (they actually had 3 different ones) instead of the ones those with the 11-13 models complained about.

Rumors of the 17 Sport are still saying a possibility of an independent rear, but very little info on that yet.

Best bet it to test drive and see for yourself. You are the ones that has to like it.

Amen to the shock improvement! Along with everything else, for that matter.

Compared with 14 to 16 biggest difference is you now get an interior from 1985 and rear drum brakes to boot!

Suspension is not superior to 14-16.

I love when people whine about drum brakes. Think about this from Hyundais perspective. Drum brakes have longer service intervals, less for the customer to worry about and cheaper for hyundai to produce. Not to mention, on a small car drum brakes are just fine. My 06 Wrangler had no ABS, 33 inch tires and Drum brakes in the rear and I got by just fine.

On the 2017's, there is thicker glass all around, more insulation, firewall insulation blanket, and hood pad underneath. Tire's (Alabama plant, mine) are Nexen. They must be napping out there. Hardly a peep.
