Now that it is 115 degrees outside and hotter, when I get into the car and start it up, the A/C blower fan does not come on. I can put it on any speed position and it doesn't come on. After approximately 10 minutes of driving, it will suddenly start blowing air. It only does it when the outside temps are 115 degrees and above. When it does come on, it functions properly. Any ideas? 2008 Hyundai Accent two door 5 speed manual transmission no ABS. Going to check the A/C on/off switch next time it happens.
Hi Bob, rather than do that could I suggest something that should be a little simpler?
When the blower wont operate, set the blower control to full speed, open the engine bay fusebox and remove the blower relay. Use a short link wire to bridge the terminals of the relay socket in the fusebox as shown below. See if that makes the blower run.
