Easy to remove, once you pull the front bumper cover (which is only tricky the first time, finding all the fasteners on the bottom and around the wheel wells, and juggling fog lights if applicable).
Right I forgot Ken posted that. lol I plan on fabricating a custom grill in its place similar to David's. I've also considered Plasti-dipping the area but I did it in PS and didn't like it really.
I messed around with some Plasti dip while I had my grill apart a couple of years ago.
After a year, the fake "eyelids" were in rough shape and peeled off. The grill has started to lift a bit around the strip across the middle bar, but is otherwise looking the same today.
(Plasti-dip tip: much more durable if you can avoid exposed edges)

You know I ended up removing my Paul Walker Tribute Decal because my buddy mentioned it had ghey undertones...."Dude I Almost Had you." Yeah okay he had a point. lol I have a less homoerotic decal coming to remain in it's stead, but you will NOT ruin my bug deflector for me! lol
No worries. I've always had deflectors on my cars because I like them.
I can be a lot less subtle if I don't like the look of a modification. I quietly dropped this picture in the j-body forums as a review of one fellow's body kit.
I thought better of preparing something like that for your car. I'm losing my touch.
Wait you can put a hatchback grill on the sedan? I thought that you couldn't. On rockauto.com it states that it only fits the hatch and vice versa for the sedan. I really like the hatch grill more, even though the sedan one gives it a little bit of a luxury look I think.
People on this forum have swapped sedan grilles to a hatchback and vice versa. Probably search around and can find threads on it. The hood/front fenders/headlights/bumpers are shared among the two body styles.
There's a sedan running around my town with an unpainted hatchback grille. It doesn't look like a car that would be modified so I assume it was put on that way during a repair.
