2009 Accent Error Code p0300

My CEL came on this morning, I went to AutoZone and there was a P0300 error code. I changed the spark plugs, if the spark plugs was the problem will the CEL go off automatically or will I have to have it reset?

DTC will not go away on it' own.. has to be manually erased from the PCM..

2009 may get PCM update for a host of DTC logic, including 0300..

Was the car running fine, as 0300 is random misfire detect, not nailed to specific cyliner (301/302/303/304)...

On Saturday I drove from Indy to Owensboro Ky back to Indianapolis and the light did not come on until this morning. There has been a couple times over the last 16 months when it would run rough and I would shut it off and back on and it would be fine. The car has 92,000 miles.

Has PCM been updated to latest software ?

Coils been a pain in butt on those also.. but we usually get them nailed to specific cylinder..
