2018 Redesign?

A lot of websites are reporting that the 2018 Sonata will get a significant redesign. They claim the intent is to bring back some of the more dramatic design of the last generation. Has anyone been able to find any pics yet?

Nope but I hope they do! In my humble opinion, the latest generation looks antiquated (to me, that is) from day one.

I have a YF, it's nice, but I like the look of the LF more. Of course, I've only had it for <3 weeks, so I'm still on the honeymoon, he LF has nice style, but is a little more modern/refined looking to me. It's all personal preference in the end. I hope the '18 isn't too much nicer.

I'd guess the same. Unless they change their ways, there's always been an "odd" year model slotted in between right before a major redesign.

It specifically says facelift, with some minor interior infotainment, tail light and possible rear bumper changes.

Eh, it always seems to take a year before I can stomach design updates for any car. Until we actually "see" it... we are all just speculating. It's pretty obvious it has the hood overhanging the fenders, the grille looks similar to the current one and they changed the locations of the LED DRL's... the rest of it's pretty well hidden.
