Where to put resistors for LED turn signals

I found I still have JDMStar Super Bright 2357 amber LEDs left from the 2012 Forte. I went outside and put one in the left front signal just to see how it looked. I like it. So now I'm considering ordering a pair of 1156 ambers for the rear and resistors. I just want them as signals and don't plan on modifying the socket for parking lights.Shark Racing lists resistors but states you only need one per side when using only for signal lights, where commonly it seems everyone else says you need a resistor at all 4 positions. Whether just 1 per side or all 4, where did you put your resistors ?

put them somewhere where nobody\nothing will touch them, they get really hot, in the back i'd remove trunk lining, there are tons of spaces under it where it can be mounted. if you chose to do it in the front, same thing, make sure they are away from anything that can be damaged by heat, any plastic or rubber. like wires and hoses .

I figured with the fronts, I'd mount them to the extra mounting plates I have for the Forte HID ballasts and mount those to the chassis. I'm curious about why Shark Racing says you only need one per side. I like that idea because I'm a little leery about mounting hot resistors behind trim panels in the trunk.
I need to get a new test light. Anyone know which wires are to the directionals to tap the resistors into ?

You will definitely need one at each corner. I did some testing on my 2015 Sonata with both 25 and 50 watt and it hyper-flashed without a resistor in parallel with each bulb. These cars use a Smart Junction Box instead of a traditional flasher and the computer checks for resistance. I have 4 25 watt resistors, one for each bulb. The rears were the easiest, I removed one of the nuts that holds on the taillight and slid one of the tabs over the bolt before replacing the nut. It has metal on metal contact and the resistor is away from the trunk liner or plastic. For the fronts I just used outdoor adhesive tape to stick them to the metal of the inner fender. I have pics in my thread here: http://www.hyundai-forums.com/lf-2015-sonata-i45/479201-led-turn-signals-all-4-corners-switchbacks-up-front-tutorial.html

I got the resistors. I have the front 2357s. Just waiting for the rear 1156s to show up then I'll have at it.
