Compustar Slice Jr. remote starter - dealer installed

I recently asked the dealer to install their factory remote starter which they use the company compustar on my 2015 sonata. The remote starter default leaves the engine on for 3 minutes. I had them change it to 10 minutes which worked fine for a month or so but after unplugging the battery to do some work, the remote starter reverted back to 3 minutes.

I'm trying to find a manual or if someone on here has the manual to post on how to DIY instead of driving back to the dealer.

Here's a link of what the starter looks like - https://www.compustar.com/product/remote-start/slice-jr-2-way/

Also keep in mind this is in Canada where Bluelink is not available...

Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure if this is entirely correct because it was set from 3min to 10min even after the first installation. I came back 2 weeks after initial install and got the technician to extend it to the 10 minute duration. He actually pulled a manual in from a new compustar set to do this...

It took him about five minutes to figure it out and it worked perfectly. He did ask me if I had the manual in my glove box but we couldn't find it. Otherwise the process looked pretty simple, just couldn't remember what he did exactly.

Actually, you're right. You can do it from the remote, but it's a bit of a pain in the ass. Timing on the buttons has to be right.

See pages 13-16 of this manual: https://www.staub.ca/pdf/manuals/12v/CS600-S_V1.1.pdf

The above is just an example. You need to find out the model of the starter module you have (starter control module, NOT the remote) and find the manual for it. It should have a similar section in it with the menu and option programming table.

So I went to the dealer and asked to borrow the manual. It actually took me about 5 minutes to figure it out and I took some photos to DIY whenever it's needed!

Hyundai branded 2-way remote installed on my 2015 Genesis Sedan

Recently purchased a 2015 Hyundai Genesis sedan and part of the deal was they would install a 2-way OEM remote start. Tried finding the same fobs within the forums but haven't seen them. It looks like they are indeed using OEM branded Compustar Slice Jr. remote start systems.

Was wondering if you've had any issues with the range. Documentation that came with the Hyundai branded system did not indicate range anywhere in the documents. Compustar indicates a range of somewhere between 2000-2500 ft. I haven't tried it from my employer's building yet but hope it works from the 7th floor to the parkade across the street.

Attaching pictures of my fobs since I haven't seen them elsewhere. Also tested and the remote start works with the original fobs that came with the car by pushing the lock and then the truck or panic button.

I have a different fob, the 901 Pro 2-way. The spec on mine is a 1-mile range I believe. I've never tested it out to near that range though. I've had no issues with range specifically. I have been inside a couple of buildings where is hasn't worked at all though. Usually buildings with a complicated metal superstructure that act as Faraday cages. It definitely doesn't work when the car is parked in an underground garage but, then, there's really no reason to remote start the car in that situation. Most of the time it works fine though.
