Fuel Filter, Where is the fuel filter?

I've got a Haynes self-help book but it doesn't really show you where the fuel filter is (clearly). Any help would be greatly appreciated. :banana:

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 6 Joined: 1-May 08 Member No.: 44,789 Status: Location: Australia Drives: 1999 Hyundai Excel 1.5L	Easiest way to find it is to actually get under the car, starting up the back where the fuel tank is n follow the fuel lines down to the front into the engine bay. i no that on my 99excel its on the left hand side of the engine bay up the back against the firewall. Prob be the same for most the smaller hyundai's. hope that helps!
