When I bought my 08 Sonata Ltd I immediately removed the light colored carpeted Soanta mats and stored them. From that point forward I have been using the clear rubbermaid mats that are fine in the summer, fall, spring (despite the fact that they twist and have to be periodically readjusted). I have been using heavy rubber mats for the front during the winter but they look like crap once they get that dirt stain but are great at catching the pebbles and granular winter stuff. I noticed Weather Tech has custom mats that fit all over but they cost quite a bit. I am wondering what other people are doing in the way of being creative with floor mats and carpet protection.

Yes they do but you always have to consider what you get for the money. I have these mats front and back - they're extremely durable and very high quality. I have not vacuumed my carpet in ages - there's nothing there! And they're also very easy to clean.

If you're willing to spend a little more than most usually do for these mats, you will not regret it.

2008 sonata gls. well worth the 99.00 price and they fit perfectly and don't shift around at all.

I too have the Weather tech floor liner and these things are great. In the winter I don't mind a lot of snow or salt getting on the liners. I head to the beach a lot during the summer and all the sand falls onto the liner. VERY easy to clean.

Spend the money, it will keep your carpet looking better and help with your trade in value in the long run. Also, if you have something in there that is twisting etc, get them out of there.
