I don't know about any chips for Hyundai's in general but the intake could net you up to ten hp. I would also do headers and exhaust if you haven't already.

I really appreciate the info, there is a company by the name of SLR Motorsports (internet) that makes chips for all makes and models. I have not done the header or exaust , I'll have to check to see if the header ok for inspections. Any suggestions on which manufacturors to go with?

Thanx

Believe it or not I got some good headers off ebay. Or if you want you can go to the various sites that sell hyundai parts and pay the higher price. You will notice that the first cat will be completely removed, I recommend when doing the exhaust to get a new cat (larger than stock) that can do the job of 2, but first find a reputable shop that will do the work and get an estimate. You don't have to but I got my headers a high temp ceramic coating.

My exhaust is 2.25in. As far as brand well I didn't exactly pick one myself, I just told the shop that I need 1 cat to do the job of 2. You will want a good size one but not too big. You can ask the shop to explain about the cat sizes better. I had started off with a cat that ended up too small and burnt out in about 9 months but that was because I went to try a shop I hadn't done business with before and I will say I will never go there again. They were complete idiots and messed things up so do some checking on the shop before you use them. You can check with other tuners in your area to see what shop they recommend.

I'm not sure what the output is now, I haven't gotten it dyno tested nor have I checked my 1/4 mile time because my tranny is messed up and I'm trying to save to rebuild it with an LSD conversion kit I found at PhantomGrip.com
