I have a 2006 Sonata and I want to buy a remote for the keyless entry because I bought the car used and it did not come with one. I am aware that I will have to get it programed by the dealer but I want to know the model # of the remote so I get the right one. it has the red flashing light on the dash so Im asumming it has key less entry, is there anyway I could verify this for sure?

Thanks
Jeff A

Yes you don't want to be stuck with the wrong one. You can do an all Forums search, but it could lead you to the wrong part. I just included

If this item is from Canada will it work here. I see problems. You should have got two Key FOB's and 3 Keys with your 2006. Check our Classified section.

Hey dj welcome

I bought mine used and only recv'd one key and one remote. 80% of the time used cars bought from a dealer are lucky to have remotes. You might want to check with your local Hyundai dealer parts dept. to see if they have unclaimed remotes around. The last time I was in our parts dept. I saw a box full of remotes for different cars that can be sold/given away. Stop in your dealers parts dept and ask to buy an oil or air filter then inquire about a stray remote. You just might score.

No search required.

The key fob for my 2006 Sonata says exactly the same thing with one exception. The part no. on mine is 95430-3K200 whereas the one you listed is 95430-3K201. I doubt that matters, mine may be a slightly older version.
