Hi,
I was told that if you add washers to the front of the bucket seats on the sonata it will raise
it slightly resulting in more comfy position will also reduce leg pain on longer trips. Is this true?
if so what size washers are needed and how many? Thanks

Best thing to do is talk with the person who told you this, or your Dealer. While it sounds possible,

I have never read that here?

I thought there was a lever on the side of the drivers seat that raised and lowered the seat. I know there is one on my 07 as I adjust the height when I drive the car. I also think that adding washers would compromise the stability of the seat in case of an accident and possibly causing serious injuries. Maimi, look that up and post the page from tha manual about non power adjustable seats. 3 months and counting till Sonata meet VEGAS 2010.

Hi,

What i mean to ask was adding some washers under the front of the bucket seats to slightly tilt the seat. I have a family
member that suffers from sciatica pain. The doctor recommended that the car seat be tilted slightly for support.
having manual seats yes I can raise and lower them tilt the seat back but not tilt the front back. That is what I was asking
I wasn't sure what the family member was asking. Thanks Steven
