I'm looking to get a used 2005 Accent, but the engine idles rough, and I'm trying to find out what may be causing it, and what can be done to fix it.

Wow, that's pretty vague, it could be either fuel, spark, air, a sensor, or the computer. Is it only at idle? And is the check engine light on?

Sorry for the vagueness, it is only at idle, and the check engine light doesn't come one, besides the test when starting the car.

Do you know the history of this car, was it serviced regularly?

Without a trouble code to help narrow things down, you could start with adding some fuel injector cleaner to the gas and taking a look at the spark plugs.
