Has anyone any information on the delays for automatics. My daughter ordered a red i10 auto on 8th August and is still waiting. She had heard that there were longer delays for automatics than manuals. If this is true, reading all your posts, she may be looking at next year before she gets it!!!!!

I ordered my auto in red on 30 Juy. Still no word. MOT on my present car expires 30 Oct. Presume if not delivered within 4 months we have the right to cancel. Might as well get my car MOT'd and go for a 2010 plate. Scrappage scheme has been extended. VAT increase though

Hi there ironfan,

Ordered our auto in silver in the second week of June,... we collect it a week today.

The salesman told us that it would take the best part of 4 months, and yes, he told us that autos were longer in the pipeline.

I ordered my silver i10 Comfort Auto on 8th June and am still waiting. It has been suggested that I may have it in the next couple of weeks, but I'm not holding my breath. Good job my little old Micra is still working OK. I think the demand has been far higher than Hyundai can handle, but from what I've heard it's worth waiting for. So hang in.
