Hi Experts! (I hope...)

I have a 2001 1.6 Accent 2 door GS with a ropy driver's window.

I have a 2000 1.5 Accent 4 door for parts.

I want to swap out the window gizmos but can't figure how to take off the winders without busting them to bits.

Any help gratefully recieved.

I tried the Hyundai site, but it only deals with electric windows.

Regards,

Irish Paul.

The window cranks have a horseshoe clip under the handle. if you push the door panel away from the handle you can see it. The best way without the tool is to place a shop rag between the handle and the panel and saw it back and forth until you catch the clip and it pulls free. The opening of the clip should face the long part of the handle. try to catch the opening with the rag. once you remove it and the handle reinstall the clip in the handle and snap it into the regulator when the part has been changed.

That's a good idea. Before I had the tool...I used a pocket screwdriver.
