I noticed this last friday, there is a slow drip comming from the engine but its not coolant, oil or fuel. I dont even think its wiper fluid. From lookin into the engine bay it seems to be comming from a 90' bend plastic pipe near the firewall closer to the right front wheel. Could it just be condensation run off or something more severe? Should i take it to hyundai and have them look at it?

thanks in advance.

Is it not the drip from your AC?

Yeah, I think its because the compressor runs when you use defrost.

Yeah, I was about to mention that too... If you use the front defroster, the A/C will run too. Technically there really isn't any "water" in the engine. I'm pretty sure anything leaking would be pretty obvious that it's oily. Or if it happened to leave coolent, you'd notice the green tint.

If you're still really curious, you could always smell it. I'm pretty sure A/C condensation really wouldn't have any smell to it. Other fluids have a pretty distinct smell to them.

If you don't use the Defrost (I rarely do), and STILL find water dripping, check it out. Only the A/C has an acceptable excuse to produce water under the engine.

It's condensation from the HVAC unit and/or run-off from condensation in rain channels. I seriously wouldn't worry about it. Like previously stated, the only fluids contained in the car have distinct colors/smells/feels and if you are positive its just clear liquid, you are fine.

The ONLY place you could find clear liquid is the battery (distilled water) but I seriously doubt your battery vented, otherwise you would have been posting about why your ride wouldn't start (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif)

Well ya know I was thinking it was possible, as I don't want another member to blow up again. Sorry (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif)

Kinda, but it evaporates real fast and it has a VERY distinct smell (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
You wouldn't see a puddle of it on the ground near the front of the vehicle unless there was a real problem.

No only questions that are a problem are relocated or deleted. Glad the liquid stopped, and

you didn't open the Battery to check the Sulphuric Acid as suggested here. We get some wild ones (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif)
