These are white LEDs that i replaced the day i got the car....bright white in real life

(IMG:http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2707/4022108851_4e11e59726_b.jpg)
Debadged...

(IMG:http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2495/4022876996_78f69fb7f1_b.jpg)
These are the light bars i made for my footwells....next picture is them in action

(IMG:http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2537/4022108525_2041f944ed_b.jpg)
nice blue glow...(if you have narrow angle LEDs, sand them down so the light will be diffused!! Thats what i had to do.)

(IMG:http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2797/4032393365_75f7ca866f_b.jpg)
now the finished product from my other "teaser" thread...

(IMG:http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2480/4032393019_33af573064_b.jpg)
shifter surround also...

(IMG:http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2468/4032392505_e61c0df60f_b.jpg)
altogether...

(IMG:http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3009/4008834405_f7ed9a3455_b.jpg)
And of course you cant live without some pedobear action! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

(IMG:http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2740/4032392745_2a8da951c2_b.jpg)
Looks good, eh? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I dont really plan on doing much more...couple of engine mods and hopefully window tint very soon. I'm very happy with how everything came out.

Yes.

Here are tons of other (IMHO higher quality) straight plugins.

Yep, they are a snug fit, but mine do fit (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif) And yeah, they're quite a bit more expensive. I had originally bought all of the LEDs in my Accent (except the dome light and LED strips on the outside of my car) for my previous car, a 98 Chevy Prizm. I estimate I spent about $300 on LEDs on that car... most of which transferred perfectly to this car (except the turn signals because I prefer the stock turn signal bulbs in this particular setup). Crazy? Yes. Worth it? I think so (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

These are the ones I have: http://www.hyundai-forums.com/index.php?&a...956&CID=968

Nice, those look good too... I had the same situation happen to me. Before this car i had a 02 sonata and most of the lights that were in that transfered right over.

300 bucks for lights? ****, i'm glad you enjoy them though (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

The blue interior pieces look good. I like the LED license lights but I'm not going through the headache of having to pull the inside hb panel to get to them.

Ew. I did not know that you had to do it that way.

hmaservice claims that you can access them from the outside via screws. I don't recall seeing screws when I pulled open my hb panel (the reason for putting LEDs in there... I'll never have to worry about a burnt out license plate light (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ), but then again hmaservice doesn't often do a very good job of distinguishing between the hb and sedan on the site.

Hey Tone, did you have to pull the interior hatch trim to get to your license plate lights?

At first i didnt think i had to and then i noticed that there is a painted piece on the hatch that covers the lever and the lights and the ONLY way it was coming off was to take the trim off. The bolt is built into this piece and goes through the hatch into the interior where there is a nut that holds it in.

Yeah, just a bit too much work to change some little lights but it isnt very difficult at all (i hope you have small hands)
