idk what the properties of that galvanized conduit are. is that very flexible? if so that wont work. You should look into a roll cage if you are really doing what it looks like ur doing by stripping it

look how a normal roll cage is set up...
you should take the plans from something like this, you dont want to go with a cheap alternative

i was thinking about getting one since my friend has his own "tack welder" or whatever you call it and he said he would help me as long as i paid him, but im not sure that its worth it to me. I dont really know all the reasons for a roll cage, i just know it helps with something! hahaha i know im not helpful at all

but judging from the picture it looks like there is 2 rear strut bars, the one on the bottom and top, so im assuming thats for "body roll?" or stability, something like that i think

ya there are two. i cant find a way to make a bracket for the tower that will work so that guys can still keep their interrior. i know most guys dont want to cut too many unsightly holes so i thikn the tower is the best option? opinions? the upper one seemed like a good idea until i saw that pic from john. now im gonna pretty much copy that exact thing just need to find connection points by the seat belts. i wonder if i can use the bolts that the front seat belts are secured to? remember this crap looks crude cuse its first product. im still trying to figure out how to bend the conduit so its unifomr and stops crushing. i always get one side prefect and screw teh other side. but by the looks of it i get to take the bender back today.

and one interested in me making a floor bar for just behind the drivers/passenger seat?

Wouldn't a bar across the B-pillars be a good idea if you want a roll cage-type thingy? That's where your head is. Also, aren't bent bars structurally weaker than straight bars?

It'd be sweet to get some kind of setup like JohnIrvine posted, but it looks to me that the interior of our cars leave very little mounting options...

A floor bar behind where the rear seats are supposed to be would be nice, but I don't know how it would mount or if it would help. And it seems like you would have to weld something to attach it to those "strut towers"

if you look at the close up of the tower bar, the two sides are completly different. they dont match holes, size shape, nothing. so its really difficult to get braces or something for them and like i said. most guys and girls dont want to have to cut huge holes in the back just to make the bar fit. that why this is probly the best. all the gotta do is drill one hole on the drivers side
