Thanks. Of course...all the pretentious idiots around here drive their Audis and Mercedes with them on during clear nights. So freakin' annoying and most of the Audi models I see only have one rear fog light.

I just checked my 09 Limited. The red lights on the bottom of the front door DO light when the door is opened.
I think this is what the OP was referring to.

Ah, specifically your CANADIAN GLS. Your GLS got some upgraded features compared to ours - likely since you had 2 models vs. 3. What a hodgepodge of product we have between us!
