I just replaced my Michelins at 70,000 miles on my 06. I'm very pleased with the tires performance and wanted to purchase a new set of Michelins. However the Michlins are over $150.00 a piece. I choose the Hankook Optima tires which seem to be a bit soft. I haven't noticed a difference in ride quality between the two brands.

Just had Yokohama AVID Touring S tires put on today. Got 37.8K out of the Michelins. If I lived in a warm weather climate I probably could have gone another 8K. We'll see how these hold up.

Well I guess when my Michelin's are worn out Imma get the General Altimax HP tires. Heard really good things from some of my friends who have it on their car. Its really cheap also. But for now my Michelin's are ok I guess. I tried them out on the rain and it seems to slip a little bit and when I make a little hard turn it screeches but on normal drives it's average. But Idk why these tires cost so much doesn't justify the price tag.

When my Michelins run out, I will go to craigslist and buy the stock rims and tires from people who want to upgarde even when they have new tires.
