155,240. it runs smooth and great. i try not to beat on it too much, but it is a 5 speed. i'm getting H&R springs and some ajustable struts, even though it's slow. i used to race solo 2 SCCA in a honda, so i like to turn. later

2003 Elantra gt pos at 120,000 miles

On 2nd trans and 2nd gear synchro is going out same as the it did on the 1st trans.

Electrical problems have been insane stereo clock, alternator, 120 volt main fuse, and a good number of sensors with no shorts ever found. Headlights do not last more than 3 months. ECU is throwing codes for nearly everything but nothing is wrong with what the codes are for so the ECU is bad or going bad. The Hyundai techs are useless. It took an independent shop to diagnose the ECU as the problem.

Car dose not idle right probably do to the ECU

All of this happened outside of the warranty period. Still owe on it and it will be in a junkyard by the end of the year.

My last car was a 1992 Mazda protege that went 15 years and 320,000 miles. I will never buy another Hyundai again.

Good luck people good luck

WHEN I DO A HWY RUN AND TOP IT UP WITH 50 L AND I DON'T PUSH IT I GET OVER 700KM. BUT THIS PAST WEEKED AFTER AN OIL CHANGE WENT ABOUT 250KM HWY ON JUST OVER A 1/4 TANK.

I have a 2005 Elantra, that has 280,000km's on it! I totally love this car... used it for work everyday since I bought it. Haven't many issues with it, except brakes, tires, struts... Now, I am afraid my bearings are going as well.
