I will check if I can turn on the fogs + high beam. I am pretty sure I can.
Sorry, I do not get it. Why cannot you have 4 front mounted lights in Canada? There must be a good reason but I cannot think of any right now.

Not sure why either.

Yes and NO

Different cars have to be done different ways. Over on the Tucson side you will find a Thread bout the same, but with no completed answers.

Also, the answer may change by year too

Can you turn the fogs on while you also have the high beams on?

Yes, I can!
Basically the fogs are now totally independent by any beam settings.
Remove the ignition key turns them off. That is the beauty, I leave them always on.

If no one else can do it before tomorrow, I promise I will post some pics.
It is really easy, all what you need to do is remove the interior fuse panel, it is a few inches below the fogs switch.
Find the wires connected to the fogs switch from the fuse pane opening. There are 5, one of them is brown and orange. Careful, one is black and orange, not to be confused.
Different ways to do the job now. You need to attach a wire to that brown/orange and connect it to the ground (any bolt is good).
The easiest way IMO is buy a wire splice cramper for $5 to that connection.
A more difficult way is to cut the orange/brown, peel some rubber to expose half inch of wire on both ends. Get a 10 inches wire (say blue color) with both ends peeled. Joint the two ends of orange/brown with one end of the blue wire.
Now the orange/brown is connected to the blue wire. Connect the other end of the blue to the bolt holding the fuse panel. Put insulate tape on the exposed wires.
That is it. Again, this works for sure on 2007 Santa Fe Limited in USA. I have no idea about other years, trims, countries.
