I bet it's impaled on the cabin air filter. You said, "no luck." Did you get the filter out and it wasn't there or were you unable to remove the filter? I can walk you thru the process of removing the filter.

You might get a shop vacuum and duct tape it to one of the side A/C vents. Turn the A/C off then turn the recirculate off, the fan on low and the vent to upper vents only. Then turn the vac on and try to suck the li'l sucker out. It might help to close all the other vents and let the only air come in thru the hood vent.

Oh come on is it scaring you. Leave it out in the Sun. Perhaps it's a Bat. There are Bats the size of Bugs.

Southern Florida has Roaches the size of your hand & they fly. Good news they don't fly in. Bad news they crawl in (IMG:style_emoticons/default/w00t.gif)

I removed the filter and it wasnt there, i was raided the whole system to kill it, i dont know where it went but can't find its corpse.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I will just deal with it.

I opened up the air intake , in cabin filter, tried both filters and no luck............................................

You get a new car.

This sort of thing is like dings & scratches.

Only answer is a new car.

But before you get a new car, maybe the bug has already LEFT the premises? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/whistling.gif)

Bad idea to 'RAID' bug spray your A/C vents? Won't it smell like it for a while now?

That's far worse than one measly 'GIANT' ant IMO!

The good news, the Giant Ant like Bug has died. The bad news, it gave Birth to hundreds

of Baby Bugs. (Taken from a similar Night Gallery show in the 70's. The one with Earwigs (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif) )
