We just purchased an Veracruz this past weekend. We went for the 2009 GLS with the premium package 'negotiated' at 31K vs the 09 Limited with a sticker price at just under 38K. The only thing not in the package we want to add is Bluetooth. I have seen the aftermarket 'Hyundai compatible' (mounts in the sun glasses holder) selling for $325 via the internet. Does anyone have any experience with a Bluetooth add on for the Veracruz?

My wife has one in her '08 she picked up two months ago. Works good, expensive but it came with the car and a load of other stuff but 9K off the sticker. There are other makes you can buy that are cheaper. You have to add all the names and phone numbers to this unit. It didn't work off her phone. I bought a hands free one that sticks on the windshield and I can just do "call Lynn moble" and it works directly from the phone ? ? ? That one cost $39. Go figure.

Anyone know how you can get the bluetooth to mute the radio, I can't figure out why they didn't do that. I'm also trying to find a way to have the headlights come on with the wipers, espicially since it's required by law in most states.

Does anybody have a copy of the instructions for the Santa Fe 2009 Ltd with Sunroof install kit? The one that is linked above is for a Veracruz, and I cannot seem to find a place to put the black box above the roof trim using the Veracruz instructions. I need the step by step instructions for the Santa Fe 09 with Sunroof if anybody has them.

***EDIT***
As it turns out, with the help of one of the admins, I got the nerve to push the black console unit above the head panel on the passenger side. Securing it was not the easiest, but I used some pipe insulation tubing to ensure it is secure and does not rattle, since the roof was not flat enough to stick it on at that point.

The remainder of the instructions were pretty identical to the Veracruz instructions - the electrical connectors for the sunroof are identical, however the connectors for the reading light are different, though color coded the same. The finished install looks like it came with the car. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/banana.gif)

Another word of warning - do follow the warnings to wear gloves when working with the roof trim. I did not initially and before I knew it, I sliced my hands up pretty good. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grin.gif)
