Can anyone point me in the right direction? I can't seem to find my XM radio ID in a 08 with infinity cd xm head unit. I did a search and nothing came up.

Turn on your radio and tune to XM channel 0 and you should get the 8 digit radio ID.

I believe if you contact XM Radio with your VIN, they will give you your radio id number.
They know it because they're the ones that control your subscription to XM/Sirius radio.
Good luck.

I had the same problem when I got my zera. Everywhere I looked kept telling me to turn to channel 0. The problem I had it didnt go to channel 0. I just kept pressing various buttons unitl it finally came up. I also came across some sort of test mode for the speakers where it sent different sound frequencys to the speakers.

Thanks for the replies! I found you can't get to 0 with the tuner knob you have to use the seek key.

Just wondering what you do when you guy a new head unit? Do you need to renew your subscription with XM again with the new Unit? Thanks!

No need too if you just replace the head unit. There is a XM settop box in all cars with XM radio that holds all the info not the radio.
Also here is a great Recall bulletin that show how to get your ID# too!!
