Hi All

I noticed this morning that the cabin fan/blower has stopped working. I've checked the fuse and it seems OK. Didn't have time to start swapping relays over to test them.

Anyone had this problem, and is there a simple fix before I have to start disembowling the dash to find the fan motor?

Thanks in advance

Dave

From your description, most probably the fan is down. Did you use the Re-circulation or fresh when using air-con. If you always swtich to fresh, it actually let in alot of dust and dirt that might damaged the fan. Next, does your Jet c/w the air-con filter? If not, better to get one before the cooling coil get damage too... B)

Hi TrajetXG

Thanks for the reply.

A friendly local mechanic showed me where the fan was located (just pull off the flat panel in the top of the passenger footwell and there it is)

I undid the 3 screws holding the fan in place and dropped it out. Gave it a quick spin by hand, reconnected it, and it started working!!!!

Put it back together and it's worked perfectly ever since - saved me probably a hundred quid for a new motor that it never needed :D

Best wishes

Dave

My Fan has stopped too. Any idea of how I can replace it myself?
I'm not even sure how to access it! is it from the engine compartment or the passenger compartment?
