Future Tuscani / Tiburon, Check out Edmunds.com Options

I was on Edmunds.com today and noticed that there was a 2008 Tuscani/Tiburon model listed under sport sedans. This is in addition to the Eqqus. It also said a coupe would follow. (REAR WHEEL DRIVE) OH YEAH!!! Has anyone heard anything else of this?

search around...you'll find all sorts of rumors about it. THe only one thing that most people agree is that it will be closely based on the HCD-8 concept model. Other than that, I wouldn't believe a thing of what you hear, mostly because the majority of the people who claim things about the car, also say that they work in South Korea for Hyundai. Then they say a bunch of crap about the car, most of which sounds like bs...(i've been researching this car for awhile now, and I've come to realize the ONLY way to find reliable information on this car is to wait and see what Hyundai has to say in an official announcement) If you DO hear anything that sounds credible, you might as well keep us posted. Or you could post it in one of the other simlilar posts on this site...happy hunting! :thumbsup:

Sounds like a plan. I did however attend the auto show here in Tampa and the huyndai rep said they are leaning more towards the Talus concept but sportier with a possible 4.6 litre V8 capable of up to 340 Horspower. Hey thats Hemi territory right there. It would be sweet.

I did a reserach study for hyundai today and I spoke with the transmission designer for all of hyundai. He said the tib will be discontinued as of 2009 and a new rear drive coupe is coming out with either a 4cyl. Turbo, V6 or V8 and there will be 2 engine options. this he confirmed. Talus is out, this is in.

I contact some companies to inquire about carbon fiber components for my 03 tib and realized very quickly that most will not have much in the form of carbon fiber. Vis produces the only carbon fiber body kit which is nice. Erebuni and Vis produce the Z3 style front fenders. Many companies produce a carbon fiber hood but outside of that no one else has anything. I inquired with companies and only 2 were willing to produce Doors and a trunk but only if people were willing to purchase then and 10-15 people can be identified.
I like most Ti bowers am interested but am attempting to do something about if. If anyone is interested in getting these and any other carbon fiber components produced by Vis or Road Race we can but we need to create a list and contact the companies in order to get those produces. If you want to do this we need to get at min 10 people in a petition who want to purchase the components. Obviously I cannot give prices on how much the part will be since they don’t exist.
If you are interested please post on the forum or email me and we could talk more about this. Also please pass this along on the better chance of getting more people involved.
