Cool Diagnostic port in 2008 i30

What exactly is the standard of the diagnostic port on the 2008 i30? Pic below -

http://www.hyundai-forums.com/attach...1&d=1349619174

I bought an OBD2 attachment thing (Link - BlueTooth ELM327 Car Scan Tool ODB Fault Scan Tool **LATEST VERSION V1.5** Best! | eBay) to use with Torque Pro (Android app), but it wouldn't fit, and I suspect that the port is not actually an OBD2 but something else.

Any help?

Thanks!

That port is used by the factory at the time of production to program and to check the vehicle parameters.

The OBD II port you are looking for is inside the cabin located on the driver side of the vehicle under the steering column lower panel.

^-- yep.

On my 2008 RHD model it's here:

What you purchased, along with the Torque Pro app, is a great combination.
