Bluetooth Calling Problem

Hi,

My GF just purchased a second hand i20 Active (built in 2012) and we've been playing around with the car and its features but have come across a problem with the bluetooth/handsfree calling.

While we can connect her Nexus 5X to the car with no problems, and it will make and receive calls, the person she is calling from the car can't hear what she is saying. The audio is coming through, but her voice is very faint and muffled, so it's really hard to make the call out.

Is there any way to fix this?

I believe the car's microphone is above the drivers seat - near the sun-visor.

Try making a call and talking directly into the ceiling mounted microphone and see if there's any difference in spoken audio quality?
