I've just had my first service on my one-year old i10 (no problem fortunately) and have been offered a service plan for the next 4 years for £975 (in UK). This supposedly gives a discount on parts and MOT.
This seems quite a lot of money (for a car with a 5 year warranty anyway) but wondered if anyone has had experience of these plans and found them to be good or bad value?
Personally I would not entertain it even if it came out cheaper. My daughter took out a 3 year service plan with the Hyundai dealership she bought the car from. 12 months later they do not have the franchise and daughter effectively paid top dollar for a service last month she could have got cheaper at any vat registered garage.
