Azera went from 596 in 2014 to 757 for 2015 in February. FY 2014+1358 while FY 2015 =1341

It might help if they advertised it. I honestly didn't know they still made the car until my wife's uncle traded in his '09. My wife tried to get me to buy it. I didn't like the look of it. I looked to see if it had been updated and was surprised to see the current gen. Then I wondered why they build this car and don't push it.

I see where several dealerships still have new (untitled) '14 models left for sale.

The increase in Azera sales may be simply an increase in supply in February, so the December-January purchasers finally had product to choose from. Or... the addition of safety technology in the 2015 did attract more buyers. Or... people looking for a new 2015 Sonata didn't like the 80's-style interior or the Fusion/Legacy exterior and found the Azera interior and exterior to be more to their liking. Or... it may just be a sales irregularity that will even out when the March numbers are in. I guess we'll have to wait and see if the next few months continue the trend of more Azera sales.

The left over 2014's VS. the new 2015 = $3,000 difference in out the door prices- which is not much considering the inventory of 2014's. In my area, there are more 2014's than there are 15's-most dealers only carry one or at most two 2015's.

Marylandrauder, did you end up buying that inferior, repair prone Chrysler product or have you learned by this forum and other forums that the Azera is a superior product?

Still in the hunt

 Drove the AWD 200C but not the FWD because they had only Limited models. I am not a fan of the AWD since it comes on below 37 degrees and the computer controls this-no way to turn it off.
:grin2:Enjoy your comments but I think you should not be throwing stones when you have serious issues with engines, interior finishes, and possibly having the Azera become extinct in the near future.
:xOne review does not mean that much when compared to many other favorable articles/videos.

Greetings, So, still in the hunt means you have not purchased the Chrysler 200? I find it a very attractive automobile but have not talked to anyone who has actually purchased one.
I used to work as a line mechanic for Dodge & Chrysler many years ago. I actually got to drive the first Dodge Mini Van in the state of Utah and was one of the factory trained techs on the cars. Those were the Iacocca days.
Anyway, Good luck on your continued quest and the best to you when you purchase.

Read the posted comments in this thread

I never mentioned the Chrysler 200 C -it was brought up by AllHyundai and MrVivona in their posts. As one member mentioned: "play nice" and the latter two did not and so my reply.
It seems like some members can not stand another point of view that does not reflect their thinking.
Still considering both cars-no rush to make a choice.

You are correct, in this particular thread you were not the first to bring up the 200C. It was a posting by AllHyundai that first brought it up, but he brought it up in response to you first mentioning the 200C in another thread. I then responded to his posting. So, yes, we both brought it up before you did.

You are also correct that we should "play nice". The problem with written communications is that it is hard to hear the tone of voice and what may be intended as a casual recommendation may be heard as a pedantic command. I do apologize if any of my comments were received as improper. My only intention is to provide input in the form of facts I have found from research. I do that because when I was considering the purchase of my car, I really appreciated all the input I received from friends, family and forum members, as well as all the reviews I read. After all this input, I made a decision based on what was right for me. That doesn't make it the right choice for anybody else because we all have our own criteria on what makes a car the right one for us.

There's a saying - people that agree with you make you comfortable, people that disagree with you make you grow. I have many friends that disagree with me from time-to-time on an issue and I have learned a lot from them because it helped me learn alternatives to my way of thinking. I am grateful to have them as friends.
