Hard Shift at high revs

I have a 2007 Elantra manual shift with about 108000 on the clock. Lately its been getting more and more difficult to shift gears after accelerating hard to high rpm. Sometimes it is even difficult to go from the lower gear to neutral. Happens in all gears. Generally this does not happen when I keep the rpm to below 3500 to 4000. Here's what I've checked: No obstructions below the pedal or around the clutch lever. Checked the motor mounts, all look good and I don't get any play. Master Cylinder reservoir is within the marks.

I've read a number of posts about hard shifting, but none of them seem to match what I'm experiencing. Anyone have some suggestions?

I would change gear oil. Use Red Line (50504) MT-85 75W-85 GL-4 Manual Transmission and Transaxle Lubricant - 1 Quart.
It is very good. You need 3 of them.

That's for starters.

Then, how is your clutch? Any issues? I know from my personal experience that the front engine mount (center, next to radiator) has tendency to give up and allows for a lot of play. As a result hard to shift. Same with the transmission mount. The other two on sides are OK until they are completely down.

Also, you may have some bushing issues on the cables. They are rubber/metal type and wear as well. They are on the transmission itself. I think there are three of them.

Thanks for the reply.

First to answer some questions. Clutch is OK. It has always taken fairly close to the bottom and that doesn't seem to have changed. Definately no slip, and no problem selecting gears at rest.

As for engine mounts, I've inspected the front and v-belt side, and they look good, I'll have to get under to inspect the back mount, cant see much from up top. Tried rocking the engine, and there does not appear to be any wear there. Don't feel or hear any clunks under power either.

Guess that leaves the oil and the bushings. Any suggestions on how to inspect the bushings?
