Mine, too! I just bought a 2003 Elantra (only 37K on it!) and the ABS and TCS lights come on and stay on, but only when the underside of the car is wet. They eventually go off, which indicates to me that perhaps the sensor itself is at fault -- just getting damp. Is this somthing I need to worry about right away or can I wait until I have some $ in the bank? In other words, am I playing Russian roulette? And how much is the Hyundai dealership going to soak me for?
My neighbor is a mechanic and can handle most of my regular car maintenace issues. Is this something a moderately talented home mechanic can fix or does it require dealership attention?
