Car Alarm Issue (Non responsive)

Greetings readers and thanks in advance to whoever offers their help.

I have got a Hyundai Getz which until today was working just fine.
The following thing happened:

I unlock the car with the remote, start the car, drive up to the exit of the facility where I am in, stop at the security gate, interchange a few words with the security guard while another checks the boot of the car.

SUDDENLY the alarm goes OFF (starts whinning) so I start pressing keys in the remote but no response, so I drive back to my initial position so try and figure out what the HECK is going!

The alarm just wouldn't turn off. I could still start the engine. But I could not lock or unlock doors with the remote, nor would the vehicle respond to any key pressed, it would not beep or anything, no flash lights nothing, as if i was using a different control remote...

Another thing is that while the alarm is beeping the flash lights do not accompany it, it's just the sound.

I tried the following:

1) Disconnecting the battery, and connecting it again after a while.
2) Putting the key on ON and on ACC, leaving it for a while hoping for it to shut up but yet never did. This trick never worked.
3) Locking all the doors and everything (manually with the key), nothing..

4) I started the car and drove a bit, then stopped it while holding clutch and brake and turning off the key... Then sometimes It would suddenly STOP (the alarm)...
Now at this point, a funny sound would arise, coming from the console, like a soft noise, really weird, kind of like as if the console or whatever is behind of it was playing a musical scale, it kinda gives the sensation that it's asking for something... Like a button to press.
But as soon as I press any button on the controller/turn the key/ unlock/open any door, the alarm goes off again!.

Hyundai Getz Weird Alarm Sound - YouTube <-- Here you can listen to the weird noise that I am talking about (put volume completely up)

Any ideas people?
Thank you.

Sorry for double posting.

Here's an update:

I have found a button under the steering wheel which when I press, stops the sound of the alarm and the weird alien sound. and while it is being held, the vehicle responds to the control remote correctly, except that when I turn the key the whole way, it keeps trying to lock the doors.

And as soon as I let it go, the car returns back to the alien sound, not the alarm.

Any clues :( Help please

Sorry for triple posting, but I cannot seem to find the edit button.

Want to say that the problem is solved and I will share the info for future reference to those that come across with the same problem.

The alarm device was located right behind the center console, which is where the funny noise was coming from. I opened the glove box and removed the two components that keep the compartment from falling (allowing it to fall), and realized that the alarm device was kind of loose. When I touched/moved it suddenly the funny sound stopped and car returned to normal.

To cut a long story short, i secured the alarm by tightening with plastic tightening strips onto the base where it was held to, and that solved the problem.

And that as many say is that.
