G'day,
Just need to know how to replace the thermostatic switch. I can see it but I can't see where the blue wires from bottom go! I assume they are the wires going to a thermistor. Shorting out this switch gets the aircon working. I am yet to change the air filters.
Hi, Update. Appears to be all due to blocked pollen filters!! Had the car since new & the filters have never been changed by the service people. But they were able to tell me I needed a new compressor etc cost another $1200 on top of the 90k service which cost $1157.00 (not fully done). The thermostatic switch was "working" & reduced the compressor run time to 5 secs.
Air still not working well!! Still suspect thermostatic switch but major work to replace it. Just past the 5 yr waranty. Not a happy camper!!
Regards Bill
