Does the 2016 Genesis HTRAC have HEATED WIPERS?

I drove in heavy snow for the first time in my 2016 Genesis. The wipers sit much lower in the car than my Azera so they iced up fast. Does the USA version have the heated lower section that melts the ice or is it just for effing Canada?

I turned the rear defrost on and didn't seem to notice anything melting.

Anyone know??

Thanks!

Thanks! You know, that really sucks that Canada with their lousy nationalized Healthcare gets windshield wiper deicers but USA gets nada! Very unfair. And those wipers sit under the hood! The icing will be a huge problem. I miss my Azera!

What does Canada's health care have to do with your wiper problem? maybe if you had installed proper winter blades you would not have this problem, then again disparaging another country's health care which has absolutely nothing to do with your problem is beyond reason, maybe ObamaCare is the answer to your issue.

Not sure if this will help, but I am in the Chicago area, and we do get a fair amount of snow.
If it's snowing a lot, I've found that switching from "Auto" to pressing the front "Defrost" button helps.
If it's really bad, you may have to raise the fan a bit.

Of course if the car is parked outside, you'll have to clean the snow out of the cowl. That would apply to the Azera to IIRC.
