We are working with our good friends at Hyundai to recognize loyal Hyundai customers/users. Hyundai would like to listen to new or recent model owners of Santa Fe, Sonata, Elantra, Accent and Tucson. We’d like to showcase your positive feedback within a user generated, custom advertising unit on our sites to give new and potential Hyundai shoppers more relevant model feedback from influencers' like yourselves . If you were interested in participating in an online conversation with our editor and forum moderator please send us an email PM with your email address. As a thank you we are giving the users that participate a site branded shirt and a site sticker.

We’d love to hear from you.

What's the deal that they don't want to hear about the Azera? They don't promote it so what do they expect? It may be because Hyundai doesn't want to promote a car a step up from the fully loaded Sonata with a four cylinder engine when the Azera has the V6. That's reason enough to go to the Azera.

If they want a scapegoat, it is because the price is so close to the Genesis. Cadenza isn't doing any better. And the reviews have been quite good.

I take it that they just want to push the Elantras, Sonatas, Genesis, Tucson and the Santa Fe. The Santa Fe has to have a ton of profit in it.

It is true though that the full size cars like the Azera don't sell very well. Even the Ford Taurus is lucky to sell 3,000 cars a month.

Bottom line is they don't promote the vehicle.

But what do I know. I've only bought seven new Hyundais so I guess I don't count.

If Hyundai was smart they would follow the Toyota and Honda marketing method. Both have their "premium" lines (the Lexus and the Acura lines.) Those are sold out of separate stores and they can get a premium price for their "premium" buyers. Yes, I know it is all a game.

Look at Toyota. They sell small cars all the way up to the Avalon. All bear the Toyota label. The Avalon actually sells pretty decently. I see them everywhere where I live.

If Hyundai would market the Hyundai line from the Accent up through the Azera that would be ideal. They would cover the market.

Then they should have a premium line (pick a name), and it would handle the Genesis and the Equus exclusively. That's what I would do if I ran the company.

I have a 2012 Azera with Tech Package that I absolutely LOVE driving - it's by far the best car I have ever owned.

I also bought a 2013 Elantra for my daughters that are attending college. They've already put on 2x the mileage I have on my car but it's still driving super strong.

Hats off to Hyundai for putting out cars that stay on the roads and are fun to drive.

Next time, include everyone in your feedback, not just the same ones you cater to in your TV commercials.

Azera Owner here... I did not know about the car and found when shopping for a Genesis. The car fits perfectly for me. I get over 30mpg on the interstate at 80mph (on cruise) and I get lots of compliments on the interior and exterior.
My only complaint is that it seems like the forgotten model. This is a great car and I hope to see more years of production because my wifes Camry is getting old and she loves my Azera (I'm considering buying her a Azera in 2016).
When I was shopping for a car, a V6 was on my list of must haves. The Genesis was out of my price range for the options I wanted and I almost bought a Avalon, until I test drove the Azera...
Hyundai, if you get more Azera's on the lots and get ES350/Avalon/300/Maxima/TL shoppers behind the wheel I feel that this car will sell itself.

Sliding slightly further off the main topic but in response to the drift...
American's need to open up to and accept diesel engines. VW has a record setting small commuter car capable (I'm sure with serious hypermileing tactics) of 74.8mpg (US). I'd need gas every three months. The best I've gotten out of my '07 Accent, according to Fuelly, is 37mpg which I was quite happy with.

I'm driving a 2013 Elantra that I've had for less than a year and have already put over 20k miles on it. I have very few complaints about the car, and they're pretty much quibbles.

  • I don't like the fact that the dash is lit when DRL is on. I'm getting used to it, but it sometimes causes me to forget to turn on the headlights if it becomes dark while driving.
  • Slide-out sun visors are far superior to visor extensions.
  • Needs driver side aux power port for dash devices. On my dash I have a radar detector, GPS, and phone mount and let me tell you getting them all tidy power is a pain if you want to close the door on the center console.
  • Hyundai should seriously consider extra aux power outlets behind the dash that are accessible via a door with a hole just big enough for power cables. Just two outlets with a little room for cable management would be great.
  • I wasn't happy about having to remove the headlight assembly to get to all the bulbs, but can it at least be made easy enough that we don't have to run to the forums or YouTube because we're afraid we're going to break the danged thing?

The forgotten automobile model. The Azera. Hyundai puts hundreds of thousands to create the car and then advertises if for a month and forget it is even made. Dealers have two or three in the lot, if you want a certain color they need to ship if from another lot. Hyundai comes up with the new Azera for this year and still no advertisement. Many people look at my car and ask what is it? Who make that car? What is it? A Azera I say. Never heard of it. I drive my car around town never see more than one or two on the street in a month. Very sad!

Hyundai advertises core cars. Accent, Elantra and Sonata but not one peep on the Azera one of the best cars in the fleet. This is my second Azera and I love it! Could be the best car I have ever owned.

Hyundai wake up! What are you paying you advertisement people and marketing people? Are they just playing golf. Advertise your entire fleet not just three or four models. I think Hyundai America needs a shakeup. Rethink your brand! If you produce a car you need to sell it or quit producing it! I never seen a car company come out with a new model and quit advertising it in a month. Only Hyundai would do so. Even the dealers don't advertise Azera's in the newspaper. Wow pretty stupid if you ask me!!!

Brand new first time Hyundai owner, so new to this forum as well.
Interesting that the OP of this thread indicates Hyundai is looking for POSITIVE feedback on their cars. What about negative comments and suggestions? Seems to me that listening to owner feedback is the best way to update your products in ways your customers actually want.

I would loved to do this, but I sent a request to you admin/mods to please remove my account and all posts tonight after feeling like I was being attacked after making a post mistake and then multiple tries to correct that mistake in information. If I could have deleted my posts and deleted my account I would have. On other forums using this type of system I have removed my accounts after no longer owner the item the forum was for.

All my best to y'all, our Hyundai is one very fine automobile, just wish all people were as fine.

How can I describe how disappointed I am in the radio display in the last updates? I can't find anyone in the Sante Fe forum who thinks it is an improvement. Most objected to the lack of useful information in favor of a big old fashioned nixie tube. My spouse is distraught in not being able to arrange the presets in order of favorites, instead of a military style numerical order. Is there any way we can opt out and go back to the previous displays?
