Only 46 pages with the number of codes listed varying being 36 to over 120 codes per page? Almost a bit too much to memorize, 85 Honda SEI first Honda with an engine control computer only had 15 codes, OBD I, usually less than 90. Even almost too much to print out, can you buy the book?

DRIVE CYCLE needed to clear "P0456 Permanent" code

Can you give me the drive cycle procedures for the 2010 veracruz GLS to remove a "Permanent P0456" code? Ive replaced the cap with authentic hyundai cap and the purge vale but need to do "drive cycle for the computer to read the new readings and clear the permanent code

Red Raspberry, I am new to Hyundai and really appreciate you posting these codes. My understanding is that any code that starts with a P0 are generic for all manufacturers and all others that start with a letter and any number (other than 0 in most cases) are manufacturer specific codes. Is that correct? So really there is only 15 pages of Hyundai specific codes? Does this cover all Hyundai years and models? I know this is old but like I said I am new to Hyundai and really appreciate you taking time to post this. THANX

I'm so frustrated! Last night, at 8:30 PM on December 31st, 2023, I encountered the same issue. I bought a 2023 Santa Fe Calligraphy on June 5th, 2023, and it's got just over 5,000 miles. I can't even reach out to the dealership until tomorrow because of New Year's, and I'm already stressed about the hassle I'll probably face dealing with this code after reading everyone's experiences. 😠 Adding to that, the dealership is a whole hour away from me. There's a closer Hyundai dealer nearby, but I don't know if they'll force me to take it back to the original dealership. Any advice on this mess?

I have that code as well. Dealership told me they have no clue what it means or how to fix it. What did you do? I love the car but it has now broken down twice and only has 4,000 miles.
I am getting that code too, what did you do to fix the problem? Two dealerships told me they havent Seen that code before and don’t know how to fix it.

I had the same issue; any dealer can fix (clear) it but there is no “permanent” solution. I went to three different dealers and each one told me they had not seen the code before. After breaking down three times; I filed a claim with Hyundai and they denied it. I hope your experience is much different. Best of luck to you!!!!!
