How about a joyride before the car was delivered?
The idiots even videotaped it and posted it.

You think 32 mi is bad...try having 250 miles put on your car!! That's right...dropped it off at the dealership for an oil leak on our 2013 Hyundai Genesis coupe and they had it for 6 days. My husband picked it up yesterday and I told him to call me when he picked it up because I had written down the mileage when I dropped it off. It had 1,024 mi on it when we dropped it off and when he picked it up, it had 1,270!! Not only that, after he drove it straight home, we found a dent on the roof of the car! I can assure you it was not there when we dropped the vehicle off...as we had only had the vechicle for 5 weeks before we dropped it off and my husband had washed the car at least 6 times during the time we had it. When I called the dealership about the miles and dent, they had no reasonable explanation about either. I asked if they had cameras on the lot and was told by the service manager that they did not....are you kidding me?! No cameras?! Like I'm supposed to believe that! I had to take off of work today just to take the car back over there to deal with this mess after they had it for 6 days. Now, I have to take it back over there next week for them to repair the dent in the car. Talk about being sick....I'm beyond sick! and no explanation as to why the car had 250 mi put on it other than we had to "test drive" it and I must have written the mileage down wrong. What incompetence! I spoke with the service manager and then the General Mgr. They offered to repair the dent, give me a full tank of gas and a free oil change. However, what kind of people do this to someone's brand new car? I will be writing a letter to the owner and to Hyundai and tell everyone I know to stay away from this dealership.....it's the Hallmark Hyundai in Hendersonville, Tn...beware!! By the way, on the invoice, they had the mileage in as 1230 and the mileage out at 1245 ...they falsified the invoice. The car was sitting at 1270 miles when we picked it up!

thats just insane it's things like that that make people loose total trust in the dealership experience. i'm very sorry you had to go through something like that 250 miles is no joke. but i'm sure they would have to take it for quite a few miles to make sure the oil wasn't leaking... but 250 seems excessive... and if i were u, as i did, get what u can from them and never return there for service ever again..

hopefully you have a hyundai stealership not to far from that one thats more trustworthy... napleton offered me 2 free oil changes but i declined and told the GM i never want their service department to touch my car again.. hope everything works it self out. let us know what happens. good luck!

Man, I am sorry to hear that some of you have had such poor service. The problem these days is all the owners want more money, and want to pay everyone less money. So the professional technicians that make bigger money $24-25+ quit and move on. Then the dealerships bring in lesser competent people to work in their service departments who may or may not of had formal training. They send them to Hyundai school (maybe) and the managers think this is enough. Most everyone out there think of mechanics as dirty dumb people. This simply is not the truth (well I guess for some it may be!) thats why most of us in the professional world never refer to ourselves as a mechanic, we are technicians. Fixing problems usually is never really too hard, but diagnosing can be. 40 years ago you could of had a problem that only 2 or 3 things could have been the culprit, nowadays its more like 20-30 things. So much more electrical and CMs (control modules) power everything, emissions stuff for the emissions stuff, hybrids, lean burn systems, turbo systems, clean burn technology etc.... you can see where I am going with this stuff. People that are good at their job want money that they deserve, and if dealers dont want to pay, we move on. Then like I said, dealerships bring in hired help at $10/hr to work on your cars. These are the people that are creating a bad rap for "Us" in the dealership world. And the worst part about it: what if your car still is leaking oil in a week or two! Thats a huge problem with the bottom dollar wrenches, is you get bottom dollar work. Now you're going to be really heated!

I totally understand your frustration, and what happened with both of your cars was totally unnecessary.
