Does anyone have experience with this site and their products? Particularly their Cree LED bulbs. Above is the link to the H8s. They have H11s and H7s as well. And I've found a source for a harness to adapt the H11b connector to an H11. I'm thinking of purchasing these in the next couple weeks but would really like a little more info on the site and any experience others may have had with them.
Thanks in advance.
PS...Yes I know I own a Veloster however I am a former GT owner. What cansay...I miss that car...she was fun in her own way.
I'm not much help, here, on this one. But I am fascinated by the quantity of owners wanting to upgrade to stronger lighting. I did read that they required 2" inches of rear clearance for a proper install. Once I see/read anything remotely suggesting "requires" in the text, I get a little standoffish.
Not that there is anything wrong with bulb upgrades, or anything else modded for that matter.
I'm just getting more comfortable in my old age (set in my ways?) running with "whatever comes on the car" as standard equipment.
Some would call that getting "old fogey." And they're probably spot-on in their assessment. LOL
Clearly lots of headlights need the improvement. I actually just adjusted my headlights up a little more over the weekend. Now the cut off line matches exactly where my girlfriends elantra cuts off, plus I have the H9's in mine. Even happier with them now. With the fog lights on, I feel like I can really see around the corners nicely too.
If you're referring to the LED's pictured, above, I installed them in my new 2017. Map, dome, vanity, back-up, license plate, and trunk. Nice, bright, white light. I'm incandesent-free. LOL
No problems, low current draw, GREAT illumination! Got them on eBay from a USA seller. Didn't have to wait for the slow boat or the prop plane from China. Could have saved a few bucks if I had wanted to wait 3-4 weeks. Shipped and received them in 3 days from date of order. Installed within minutes. Well, about 30, actually.
The headlamp bulbs are plug and play? I had to put inline resistors in for my switchback turn signal bulbs
