History
So many questions were asked about this car when I posted it on one of the Off Topic forums under Other Cars.
So, I decided to add it here for a few months until the new wears off the avatar, or I revert back to one of my former ones.
289 cu. in. Studebaker V-8 with a Paxton Supercharger. 37,??? miles. Only driven on weekends when there is 100% chance of no rain. Belongs to one of my best friends from high school. I include it here as a special dedication to 50+ years of enduring friendship!
Fully functional in every way. In 1963, Studebaker designed these cars with an interior roll bar and complete fiberglass body. No headrests. Which could be a nice mod due to the neck-snapping acceleration.
It was ahead of its time. This body style is timeless, in my opinion. As was the forethought and engineering that went into the design.
