I have a 2004 SF LX 3.5L. The switch for the heated seats does not light when depressed- either R or L. Unless the heated seat temperature is quite low, the seats do not appear to be heating. I also noticed that the fuse in the Heated Seat position was a 25A instead of the recommended 15A. I replaced the 25A with a 15A.
At this point I assume it could be either the switch or the heater...

We will be towing from Ca to TX this month- towing a utility trailer with just some boxes and work bench- will we have any problems? Do we have to upgrade the transmission cooler.

Called my local dealer and he has never heard of a fuel temp sensor on a Santa Fe and thinks that it might be one of the three sensors in the fuel tank.

What kind of oil should I use for a 2004 3.5L?

I have a 2004 Santa Fe. I noticed that on my rear passenger door the bottom right corner of the door molding that is on the bottom of the door had come off a bit.
Can someone tell me what holds the molding on the door? I thought it was some type of clip or something like that.
I was going to try and give it a good push to put it back in place but I wasn't sure if that would work.

I'm attempting to replace the alternator on the 2001 Sante Fe and am having trouble removing the Pivot Bolt. I removed the nut from the front of the bolt and attempted to slide the bolt rearward toward the front of the engine. It seems to run into the front of the engine before it's completely free of the alternator housing.

Is there a step that I'm missing in the process...

Hi everyone I have a problem that i was hoping you guys or girls could help me with. I have a 2001 Santa Fe and both of my tailights are out. I checked the fuse and it was blown. I replaced the fuse and as soon as i depressed the brake pedal the fuse blew again. The bulbs are fine so i replace the switch under the pedal and again the fuse blew immediately.
