Hi everyone I own a 2003 TIBURON V6GT, I've been looking for about three weeks now and pretty much still no luck as to where i can get a turbo kit for my car(thats not custom made). I've joined two other forum and have found the supercharger, twin turbo kit, and a T4 turbo charger that was custom made threw greddy but it cost more then the twin turbo($6,500). If anyone can give me a website that has a turbocharger kit or just a namebrand that make them it would be much appreciated.
Thank You
P.S. if no one can help me ill probably just go old school and get cams, leave it nonasperated.

Well, I had a chance to put about 50 miles on the Tiburon and my first impressions are positive. This is a 2005 2.0 L Auto GS. The power is adequate with the 4 Cylinder but the transmission likes to up shift at low RPM at partial throttle. If you use the sport shift mode the car accelerates nicely and the dual exhaust have a nice snarl in the higher RPM
Ranges. I’m still being nice to it till it’s broken in but you can feel it wants to go.
The steering a little heavy at low speeds but had nice feedback at road speeds. The handling and braking are excellent. This being my first Asian car the only comparison I could make is to my 83 Fiat Spider, which it will drive rings around.
P.S If your over 6 Foot tall and don't want to sit reclined in the backseat a sun roof is out of the question.

Hi,
I graduated this year and while i'm earning some money i would like to buy a new car because i now drive a toyota carina (4 doors) and i like it a little more sporty
I looked around a bit and when i saw the Hyundai coupe tuscani (Tiburon i think it's named outside Europe) i didn't have to see other cars
At the end of the year i would buy the 1600 engine but i would like to know if there are some things that i have to think about ?
I mean :
Are there any troubles with this car ? little things that all coupé"s have or so?
positive and negative reactons of this car?
Well, if you have any comments of this car , just say it, i'm very curious
I can't wait to buy this car
PS : sorry for the bad english , i hope you understand

Hi guys, i'm new here. I have 2003 Tiburon GT V6 with AT 32K on it. Couple month ago i started experience problem with my AT Trans.
Here is the problem:
First i now can remove key from ignition when my trans on "D" or "R" position i think its wrong because you should be able to do this when you are on "P".
Second, now i'm often get key stuck in ignition, to remove key i need drive little bit forward or backward and sometimes it takes 5-10 minutes to get key out and its very unpleasant to do this.
Do you have idea or opinions how i can fix it?
One more thing i cannot take car to dealer because i have "Rebuilt Title"
Thanks for all your help.

Hi there!
I wonder if anyone has had a similar problem with their Tiburon....?
My Tiburon has developed a wobble on the steering wheel that sometimes builds up at around 65-75 mph on most road surfaces. Have had the wheels balanced 5 times! Can't seem to get rid of it.
Any suggestions? Does anyone elses do this (this is my second Tib and, to be honest, both have had some sort of wobble at some speeds, but I always thought I'd get it sorted next service...)
It's really annoying!!!!!

Hello,
I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what kind of plug wires I should get for my Tiburon. I would like to get something that will give me a little better performance than stock, but not cost an arm and a leg. I just got some new IK16 Denso Iridium spark plugs, and I would like to have a nice set of wires to compliment them.
Thanks in advance,
Vince.

I own a 2004 Tiburon Special Edition. There are four switches along the top of the console above the multi guage. The switch farthest to the left is for the fog lights. Does anyone know what the other three switches are for? From pictures I have seen of the inside of a Tuscani it appears as if the two switches to the right are for heated seats. I can't make out the second switch from the left. Also, what are the three switches used for just below the left air vent on the dash board? The far right adjusts the gauge lights. What are the other two switches used for?
Where can I get heated seats? Is it possible to buy the heating elements and the wiring needed to make my seats heated? Can you have cloth heated seats or only leather?

[B] Hi there,
I am in the process of buying for the first time a Hyunday.
I would like to buy the Coupe Automatic 2.7 V6 DOHC, I just would like to know what the difference between the Automatic 4 speed and the Manual 6 speed? It's the Manual faster although they have the same engine, or it's the same? Is there anyone that can help?
I asked the dealer however here in the Middle East they are not reliable at all, they told me there aren't any difference!!
Your help it's really appreacited.
Thanks

Hi there,
My name is Nick and I am from Athens Greece. I have a Hyundai Coupe model 2003. It has 1.6lt engine with turbo (special edition from the Greek Official Dealer) and it has 145hp (105hp normal).
At the moment I don't have any serious problems with the engine. The only complaint is that I expected much more from a turbo engine. The pressure that the turbine works is 0.25bar. That pressure is locked from the Official Dealer and that's why they give 5 year warranty for the engine.
That's all for now!
Best Regards
Nick(nigite)

Hi everyone,
I replaced the backcover of the passenger's side seat to have the seat sewed. But now that I want to put the backcover, it doesn't click on the upper side. Does anyone know how to put the backcover of the seats again?
2. To replace a rear shock, I had to remove the back seatbelt. Now it doesn't want to strecht enough to reach the bolt. It seems to be protected by a mechanisms. Does anyone know how to release this?
Thx in advance.

if anybody knows of any really good websites with upgrades for the powertrain of the tiburon v6 please post them, the only good one if have found so far is ebay and they only really have exhausts and intakes, not much for the engine management

for anyone looking for free instant gratification (pay attention) if you own a tiburon v6 GT go out to your car right now and unbolt the metal plate at the opening of the right side of your bumper..now pop the hood and remove the engine plastic all around the battery...now trace a hose going from your air box all the way around to your battery, unbolt it at the battery side and stretch the intake hose down to the bumper where you previously unbolted the plate...bolt it together and praise me later...good luck
by the way the stock airbox in this configuration is far better than any cold air intake..I put a K&N air filter in mine huge results enjoy
