Anyone knows where i can find a Chrome head cover set, i have spoke to shark racing and Mr.sam from shar racing told that he need to order for 100 units to be chrome if i want. so can any one know where can i get this cover with chrome. i have seen from a korean website who have made chrome. and it was wonderful.

I have had a Hyundai Coupe 1999 for about three weeks and was driving home in the bad rain today when the passanger side wiper stopped raising fully, the elevation kept reducing and now it has stopped all together, can any one tell me what is needed please.

Iv been looking around on the net for clear corners,or euro headligts and tail light but im not having any luck.Maybe its cause im looking for them for a tiburon and i should be looking for them for another model that will also fit the tiburon.Is there such kits out there ?

Ok I have a couple questions, they might be stupid but I got a 99 Tiburon FX today and I had a cold air intake and tail lights installed in it by a couple people I know.
Well this is the first Hyundai that I have had and the first one they have worked on. After installing it now my car will not shift out of park without pushing the shift lock button in and then once out of park and in drive it only stays in one gear, I think it feels like it is 2nd and it won't shift out of it. You can put it in L gear and you don't feel the transmission shift at all.
Also my turning singles won't work, I don't know if this is from installing the tail lights our what.
Any suggestions or comments would be helpful.

I have a 1999 Hyundai Tiburon... recently it has started making squealing noises when I hit the breaks. It is worse when it rains or if it is wet outside. I had the breaks replaced thinking that was the problem, but it wasn't. It is progressively getting worse. Sounds like trucks do when they are approaching a stop light sometimes.... Anyone have idea what else it could be?

Hey everyone I'm looking for two things, one the pocket that goes under the stereo and two the little pocket in the center console, not the change holder and not the bigger holder the little one. Does anyone have these? and could place a price on them? I drilled holes in mine but now I want it back to orriginal condition.

I got the check engine light on again and this time I wanna check why. I got the laptop, the software, the cable too. My question is, is it safe to plug the cable into the laptop directly, or should I use a scanner instead of risking to fry my port/computer?

hey guys hows it going. the last 2 days i have been looking for cars to race me and have not found any cars that have lined up at the line with me. i got an auto 2000 tib with intake and exaust and a 60 shot of zex nitrous. than today i pulled up to a srt-4 and challenged him. the light turned green and i let my 60 shot of zex go, i took him off the line and got an even better lead when he shifted, at about 70kms he started to pull ahead of me but we slowed down because there was a cop. he wanted me to pull over to say the least. we talked for a while, he was pretty impressed with my tib and sayed he had raced many tibs (mostly standard) and smoked them all. we than raced again and i took him till about 90kms. man that made my day, anyone with a tib i highly recommend a 60 shot of nitrous and show the people what we got.

I just recently purchased a 97 coupe sfx which am really starting to like with the quick gear changes and performance, but when driving, the handling of the car is very sensitive to any bumps or small rocks or evens sticks on the road, the car jolts and you need to hold onto steering wheel and was wondering if thats normal due to the design of the car or should i have it checked out, any help would be greatly appreciated, otherwise loving it

1)The Plastic Interior
THINGS NEEDED
*Duplicolor Truck,Van, And SUV (Your Color Of Course)
*Hair Dryer (Optional)
*Dawn Dishwashing Liquid
*Bucket
*BathTub
*Laquer Thinner
*Flathead and Philips ScrewDrivers

The best way to custom style ur interior is with paint of course. If you want the grain to be there without having to do some sanding try DupliColor Truck,Van,Suv Paint. This is great. Just remove your plastics for painting. Tho there is some work involved before painting. Most people clean and maintain there cars. Armor All is awful on ur interior for painting it. After removal Fill your bathtub with a few inches of water that is needed. Or a bucket for things like door handles,window button surround,and vents. Use some dawn dish washing liquid and scrub the parts. The cleaning chemicals seep into the plastic. If u dont ur paint will not stick to the seepened areas. Let soak in water over night. Then Use some Laquer Thinner on a rag to whipe the rest away. Do not soak in Laquer thinner or ur plastics will deform. Then place outside in sun to let them heat. If ur painting somewhere cooler use a hair dryer to heat the pieces. Slowly and carefully paint the pieces with the Duplicolor of ur choice. Allow 3-5 days to dry. A second Coat is suggested. 3 or more will begin to make the paint soft and loose.~~Duplicolor has many tastes in colors. From Classics to Metalflakes to pearls.~~

2)Cloths
Carpets and Seats

There is a type of die for ur carpet and seats. Just remove the carpet or seats and die them.

*Headed Cloth*
I found removing ur headlinner and replacing it with a blanket works. Just remove the cardboard from ur head board. Lay on floor. I found you can palce a thick type of sheet on it works. Glue it completely down. Then Paint your custom designs on it.

I'm new to the board. I own a 2002 1,6 coupe, and i'm considering tuning it slightly. I've found a company that probably can optimize the ECU-program for an 8-12% gain. However, to be certain that they can do this, they need to know the ECU make/brand on this car. Do any of you know what make it is, or where the ECU is located on my car, so I can figure it out myself?

Also, I've ordered a Kingdragon drop in performance airfilter. Has anyone got any experience with drop in's?

I just had the stereo stolen from my 96 coupe and I was wanting to install the factory model that I had replaced. The stereo is the standard coupe cd player, which is a philips dc 902. I've done web searches and havene't been able to find anything. If anybody has a wiring chart or can simply tell me what color's what. I'd be very appreciative.

Trying to change the front discs on our Gen1 2.0SE Coupe 1996, it is one of the models with the so called "captive rotor" front discs so to change the disc you have to remove the wheel hub. As ever the hub and bareing are fused together through corrosion. Has anybody got any hints/tips on how to seperate these to allow the disc to be changed without having to buy a whole new hub/bareing/etc please. This is fairly urgent as obviously i want to get this sorted ASAP if not sooner!

Hi all. Im new and sorry to say hallo with a problem but here goes. I have a super (upto now) 1998 2.0se auto in cobalt blue with only 36k gen!!
My auto gearbox occasionally changes down to 3rd, on its own without kicking down at speed (giving me 4.5k rpm at 60mph) and will not change back up till ive stopped the car, turned off for 2 mins and drive off again. Its then fine for several days!!!! Dont think it the button on the side as that becomes totally in effective when it happens and the light on the dash illuminates on and off as normal. Ive tried an ECU reset and twiddled all the wires I can find. All seems ok...Help please

Need to know what has been proven to be the best preformance parts the the exhaust from the headers all the way to muffler tips.

Also is it possible to convert from single rear pipe to a double rear pipe?

What is considered the best intake for an automatic tiburon (K&N, injen etc and what model).

I was told by someone that I could take out my corner lights and put them in an oven at a certain temp. and the glue would become more of a liquid again and then you could take them apart slide the amber lens out and there ya go you got a clear corner.

Question is this something that you could actually pull off?

I was looking to upgrade from my stock intake to the injen rd1350 cold air intake.
I was wondering if this is the best choice for my 2000 automatic tiburon.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Also the one problem i had about this intake was the fact that it says for manual tranmissions only is this a big problem for me since i have an automatic?

Hi all!..... Recently inhereted a Coupe from my gal.... Damn thing won't start. Battery seems to be knocking out 8 volts so that really does'nt help but the really annoying thing has to be the alarm and immobiliser resetting!!
I initially removed the battery as the car had been stationary for about 8 months to recharge it. After hooking it back up, the immobilser seems to be kicking in and after about 30 secs, the alarm starts! I've tried locking the doors, boot and bonnet and leaving it for a while but no joy, the L.E.D indicator has stopped flashing and occasionally, the indicators will start flashing for around 10 secs.... Any ideas folks?

The garage my car is installing a RamAir Air Intake Manifold and they tell me they had to lengthen the wiring loom to the ECU. Unfortunately they think they have wired incorrectly and have stopped working on it till they can find a pinout diagram / details to tell them whats should be where....

Has anyone got an ECU pinout diagram for a Hyundai Coupe / Tib 1999 ?

apparently my rotors are held to the axle by these four bolts which protrude from the face of the plate that is holding it all together. and this being the case, in my ignorance of this particular nuance of my recently acquired 97 tiburon FX my rims don't fit. has anybody else had this problem? how was it remedied?

Recently purchased a 2000 Tiburon and am loving it however, dealer was unable to supply an Owner's Manual. I have been searching the web for weeks now to no avail. The Online Workshop Manual mentioned here is excellent but I am looking for just a regular owner's manual.

I am selling a set of 17' Chrome ADR Rims. One is slightly curbed. Selling price will be 400. Comes with tires. 2 of which need replacement. Also Im having a problem with my new transmission. Speed shifting into second gear is not possible. You must shift 1 to 2 under 3500rpm or it will grind. This is a brand new transmission. Im wondering why its doing this. Also it does it downshifting into 1 no matter the speed. I was wondering why. If you know please contact me.

I dont see many '00 models around so i am going to make this one a piece of its own. I chose a '00 because i like the body style. wish it was manual trans tho... i dont like the auto and cant afford another tib

I recently installed some new face gauges. i am now testing and they all work nice. everything fits great but one problem... the speedometer and the fuel needles now dont move!
did i do anything wrong? the RPM reads as well as the temperature needle. how do i fix that?

hello my first post and i am asking for help. i consider myself a good shade tree mech. very good with vw water cooled. but my tiburon when it shifts to overdrive it is just like going to nuetral. (nothing) take overdrive off it will grab hard no sliping in any other gear. fluid is perfect red not brown. mech. said it needed to be rebuilt for only 1.700 but he could not tell me exactly what was wrong. it has 111.000 on it. please respond. thank you

I've an F2 Evo coupe. I'm concerned that the temperature gauge is always in the last quarter not far off red. I've never lost water or over heated. My garage says not to worry its normal but I would like info from other coupe owners as to whether their cars appear to run so hot?

Hi i have just bought a 1.8 1999 coupe, but i think its a bit of a mix?
i dont know what model ie sx sfx fx? as it is not badged.
but it has leather doors and trim but the seats are cloth material.
it also looks like it hasnt got central locking or remote central locking as i only got one key and it dosent lock all doors when i turn key (could this be a fuse problem)

apart from that the car is superb it goes like a rocket especially after i fitted the cold air induction kit, and stainless steel exhaust.

pse any help on 1.8 specs would be great ta.

ok i tried to enter my car but every time i try my car alarm goes off. I tried to stay inside the car till the car alarm goes off then start my car but it dosent work.
